Women's Safety Class

When it comes to bicycling, women account for only 24% of all trips made by bicycle. It doesn’t have to be this way. This class will provide a safe space for anyone who identifies as a woman to learn how to bicycle safely and with confidence. This course will be taught by women who have years of experience as full time bicycle commuters.

What will we be covering?

  • Essential skills and strategies to keep you safe when riding on open streets
  • Tips on commuting to work while still arriving presentable
  • How to comfortably dress for all types of weather
  • Ways to carry personal items on your bike
  • Effective route planning
  • Riding at night
